EnglishDeep groove ball bearings are the most common type of rolling bearing. A basic deep groove ball bearing consists of an outer ring, an inner ring, a set of balls, and a cage. Its simple structure and ease of use make it the most widely produced and applied type of bearing.
Structure and Characteristics: Deep groove ball bearings are non-separable bearings, with a simple structure and extremely common use. Besides the basic type, there are various variations, such as: deep groove ball bearings with dust covers, deep groove ball bearings with rubber seals, deep groove ball bearings with retaining grooves, and full complement deep groove ball bearings with large load capacity and filling notches.
Deep groove ball bearings primarily bear radial loads, but can also bear both radial and axial loads simultaneously. They are suitable for use under high-speed operating conditions. When bearing only radial loads, the contact angle is zero. When a deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, it exhibits the performance of an angular contact bearing and can withstand large axial loads. Deep groove ball bearings have a very low coefficient of friction and a high limiting speed, but are not suitable for heavy loads. A larger radial clearance increases axial load capacity, and the contact angle is zero when subjected to pure radial force. When axial force is applied, the contact angle is greater than zero.
