A: "Pitch" refers to the distance between two adjacent threads (2 mm). "Lead" is the total linear distance the nut travels along the screw in one complete 360° rotation. Because this is a 4-start screw, the Lead is 8 mm (4 starts × 2 mm pitch = 8 mm travel per revolution).

Q2: Can I get a different type of nut instead of standard brass?

A: Yes. While standard brass/copper nuts are provided, we can supply anti-backlash nuts or custom POM (plastic) nuts based on your requirements to eliminate clearance issues.

Q3: Are the ends of the screw machined for bearings/couplers?

A: Standard stock comes uncut/unmachined at the ends. If you require standard end-machining to fit into KP08 pillow blocks or motor couplings, please provide your technical drawing with your inquiry.
